Poem for Tuesday and Carkeek Park

from It's Time
By Frank Sherlock

The bird

called tomorrow

extends into

infinite presence

Its beak peeks

in & out of

an open cage

appearing to

be large &

too small

We have already

flown w/o

knowing what

it was called

We watched most of the glorious Nationals-Dodgers game, though we took a break for the season premiere of Supergirl with the new cast member I somehow didn't know was joining the show! • Greetings from the Canal

It rained early in the morning on Friday and again in the afternoon -- the first thunderstorm of the season, which displeased the kittens so much…
