Greetings from Capitol Hill

It was a gorgeous cool autumn day in DC so after a morning Ho-Oh raid at which a friend caught the bird for me, we walked around downtown!

At the actual Capitol Building...

...and the miniature replica at the US Botanical Garden.

By the train display and Norwegian Christmas tree at Union Station.

Posing with Shakespeare at the Folger Shakespeare Library's Painting Shakespeare.

Poinsettias at the National Gallery of Art, where we saw the Fragonard, Vermeer, and Munch exhibits.

Back at Union Station (with full moon) for dinner at Cava and to retrieve the car.

Then we came home for the Big 10 championship, which was very exciting until Wisconsin failed to beat Ohio State. Now we're waiting for U2 on SNL.
