It rained on and off on Sunday, but that didn't affect anything we wanted to do apart from maybe pick more berries. So after watching most of the US women's victory in the World Cup, we had a lovely brunch in Brunswick at Beans in the Belfry, followed by a stop at drizzly Gathland on the way to South Mountain Creamery, where we waited out the rain eating ice cream under the big tent by the store, then visited the calves and chickens in the nearby barn.
We came home to clean up before meeting three of Adam's friends since high school for dinner at Ted's Bulletin in Gaithersburg, after which Adam took off to Fredericksburg to stay with Katherine, whom he will be driving up here tomorrow so they can do some more shopping for their apartment in San Francisco. Paul and I watched the first two episodes of the new season of Burden of Truth
